The Jensen JRV210B SIRIUS Ready 2.0 DIN Stereo offers many different features to make RV travel an even more pleasurable experience. Not only does it function as a standard AM/FM radio and CD player, it also has a USB port to play music from a flash drive or other USB device. The JRV210B is iPod ready, meaning that once an iPod is plugged in, access to the iPod is no longer required as the controls on the radio are able to operate it. Other MP3 devices can be played through the Jensen JRV210B by way of the front aux input. Because it is also SIRIUS ready, this stereo is capable of transmitting SIRIUS Gen 3.0 Satellite Radio through a SIRIUS Dock & Play unit and controlling it from the stereo headunit, rather than having to use a separate satellite radio receiver.
Like other Jensen products, the JRV210B is subjected to vigorous testing to ensure that quality is maintained. It is tested for temperature and vibration, to see how it stands under even extreme road conditions. The extreme temperatures of traveling conditions are evaluated, including corrosion protection from high temperature humidity. The stereo must also maintain operations when the vehicle battery goes above or below normal voltage. By simulating the potential life cycle of use, the durability of the stereo can be confirmed. Other tests on the JRV210B include electrostatic discharge protection, circuit protection and other performance tests.
